The only stock exchange in Mexico. The Indice de Precios y Cotizaciones, or IPC index, consists of the 35 most representative stocks chosen every two months.

The only securities exchange in Mexico. Completely electronic since 1992, it trades in both equity and debt instruments, as well as some derivatives. The exchange was a mutual company until 2008 when it made an IPO. At present, its shares are traded on its own trading floor. Its main index is known as the Indice de Precios y Cotizaciones. It is abbreviated BVM after its Spanish name, Bolsa de Valores de Mexico.
