MCF

ISO 4217 code for the Monegasque franc. It was introduced in 1837. From 1960 until its replacement by the euro in 1999, all coins in circulation corresponded with those of the French franc. The Monegasque franc was pegged to the French at a one-to-one ratio and the two currencies circulated alongside each other in Monaco.
