reliability

the extent to which a product fulfils its function over a period of time.

The reliability of a product depends upon its design characteristics, the quality of materials and components embodied within it and the care with which it is made and assembled.

A product's reliability is an important part of its performance in use and thus affects the appeal of the product to customers and the likelihood of their buying it. See BRAND LOYALTY. See QUALITY CONTROL, FAILURE RATE CURVE, PARALLEL SYSTEM.

Under the asymmetric model with N potentially available channels, MTTR upper bound is (N -1) T, where T is the sequence period in which channel replacement procedure is used and T = 2N -1.
F]; the second type is failure state, the average time to stay in failure state is MTTR, which is decided by XR .
MTTR was selected as a key component for analysis since it is a significant piece of the depot repair turn around time.
If the MTBF and MTTR of a component are known, its availability can be computed using the following equation:
Both units are designed with features that improve reliability, functionality, MTBF (mean time between failures) and MTTR (mean time to repair).
Improved serviceability Plug-in modules with on-board calibration constants minimize the MTTR with next-generation systems.
It provides a reliable solution with high MTBF and low MTTR, and features built-in intelligent battery management and proven, microprocessor-controlled thryistor technology.
IPMI with fully managed Saudi dedicated server works with any operating system, and helps decrease MTTR (mean time to repair), as it permits DBD (diagnose before dispatch).
Apart from the rates, the calculated probability is at the same time the function of the Proof Test Interval T1 (h) and the Mean Time To Restoration MTTR (h).
As our customers have cited, this advanced automated performance monitoring technology is working, and giving network managers a major head start in preventing or resolving network disruptions, - not to mention assuring VoIP call quality - leading to significantly reduced MTTR.
