However, our study design included parameters much different from the reference research--we took the mean and standard deviation of maximum and minimum IOP, SBP, DBP, and MOPP
and mean thereof but not taken mean IOP (averaging maximum and minimum) and so on as our parameters.
For each of the seven male subjects, as cited, core and heart rate time histories were collected for a combination of three MOPP
levels (0, 2, 4), two different work rates (200 W, and 425 W), and three environmental conditions described earlier, providing a total of 18 time histories per subject.
Testing occurred in an environmental chamber, with each test consisting of one combination of three environmental conditions (neutral, 75[degrees]F and 45% RH; jungle, 95[degrees]F and 75% RH; and desert, 110[degrees]F and 20% RH), two metabolic rate levels (light, 200 W; heavy, 425 W), and three MOPP
suit levels (0, 2, and 4).
Providing guidance on contamination avoidance, including instructions on donning MOPP
gear and seeking protection with overhead cover.
For a dawn attack, the unit might rehearse in the afternoon of the day before to give supervisors time to conduct precombat inspections on personnel and equipment (especially MOPP
gloves and M1 canteen caps).
This method minimized the soldiers' time in MOPP
4, reduced their exposure time, and limited site congestion.
Carrying a casualty while in MOPP
4 for an extended period of time across uneven terrain is no small task.
This application will be divided into five training sections: JSLIST components, preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), JSLIST operations, the buddy system MOPP
gear exchange, and testing.
In paragraph 3 (Execution), subparagraph d (Coordinating Instructions), the MOPP
level must be addressed.
