Ministry of Foreign Affairs

A cabinet-level department of the Japanese government responsible for formulating and implement foreign policy. It aims to promote profits for Japanese companies abroad. It works with JETRO, the Ministry of Finance, and other agencies in accomplishing its goals.

The DNC resolution pledged support for Taiwan's meaningful participation in the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and other international organizations, according to MOFA.
