Japan International Cooperation Agency

Also called JICA. A government agency in Japan that coordinates foreign aid to other countries. It was established in its current form in 2003 but traces its origins to 1974, when it was a department in the Foreign Ministry.

Jica's announcement after the meeting said it will continue to support PAS in all aspects of the port's development and promote the Special Economic Zone through grant aid, technical cooperation and concessional loans.
