Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

the main UK body representing personnel managers and publicizing the benefits of effective PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT. It operates a system of training and examination of personnel managers so as to promote professional standards of personnel work. Currently it has over 100,000 members.
