Institute of Directors

the UK organization representing the interests and views of company directors. Its membership is drawn especially from smaller businesses and hence its policies tend to reflect the interests of small employers. In particular it advocates reduction of those regulations governing how businesses operate, including those relating to employment protection, which are believed to stifle entrepreneurial initiative.
