A form published by the IRS stating the instructions for using Form 1040EZ, which is a simplified version of the 1040 Form on which a taxpayer lists his/her income. In order to be eligible to use the 1040EZ, the taxpayer must not itemize deductions, have any dependents, own a business, or exceed a certain ceiling on regular or interest income. The 1040EZ is the most straightforward tax return because its users have no need for most deductions or credits.
