Incorporated Administrative Agency

Incorporated Administrative Agency

A legal structure for some agencies of the Japanese government. Unlike ministries and similar organizations, incorporated administrative agencies are responsible for the operations, rather than the planning, of government. The Japanese government does not guarantee debt issued by these agencies. Examples of incorporated independent agencies include the Japan Mint and the National Printing Bureau.
