IBM PC 300 and IBM IntelliStation models support IBM's new System Migration Assistant, a unique software tool designed to help administrators dramatically speed up the migration of users to new IBM computers.
Whenever you buy equipment that uses a computer for control or calculations, insist that the computer use standard, interchangeable parts and be fully compatible with
IBM PC clones or Apple computers.
Once they indicated that they understood the purpose of the research, they were asked to proceed with the computer simulation using an
IBM PC. The researchers observed the participants for the first five minutes to provide assistance if difficulties arose.
"Going into the IPO we'd signed a contract with IBM to provide the power supplies for their newest product-the
IBM PC Jr.," he explains.
The software is supplied on 5 1/4-or 3 1/2-inch high-density floppy disks for
IBM PC and compatible machines with 640 kilobytes of main memory and an EGA or VGA graphics card.

IBM PC or clone.

This software runs under
IBM PC DOS 3.1 on one EBM XT, two IntelleXTs (XT compatibles), and one MTX, an AT compatible with an Intel 80386 CPU.

Intensive Phonics, a software program for the
IBM PC, has been installed in all special-education classrooms.
A disadvantage is that the circuitry will not work with boards available for interfacing with the
IBM PC; new boards will have to be created.
