Host security(redirected from Host Securities)
The security to which a warrant is attached.
A security with a warrant attached to it. A warrant is a certificate issued with a security giving the holder the option of buying a stock at a certain strike price for a certain period of time. They are issued by companies during a round of financing as an added incentive to buy a security. Most of the time, the host security is also a stock, but this is not always the case.
