Gradualist Monetarist(redirected from Gradualist Monetarists)
A scholar or other person who promotes the policy in which growth of the money supply is slowly reduced until it equals the economy's growth rate. Gradualist monetarists argue that this policy controls inflation without unnecessarily slowing down GDP growth. Critics question the policy's ability to control inflation.
