Eurowarrant

A system in the European Union whereby member states extradite prisoners to other member states upon demand. The Eurowarrant replaced extradition requests, which could be granted or denied. Barring abuse of the system, extradition under a Eurowarrant is automatic. The system was adopted in 2002.
