Deceptionist (redirected from Deceptionists)
A slang term for an administrative assistant among whose primary responsibilities is to limit access to his/her boss. A deceptionist may be hired if the boss is extremely busy, or if he/she simply does not want unnecessary issues to bother him/her. Deceptionists enable their bosses to avoid people without creating enemies.
