Crystallization

The act of selling an asset and immediately buying the same asset back. One does this for tax purposes; that is, one sells the asset in order to realize a capital loss, but buys it back because one believes it still represents a solid investment. Most tax agencies have rules forbidding or limiting crystallization.

For Ti[O.sub.2]/ PLLA nanocomposites, the Ti[O.sub.2] nanoparticles affect the crystallization process and the nucleation type is combination of heterogeneous and homogeneous process.
As an example, G' after a first increase during the cooling step, which can be ascribed to the effect of temperature, shows a plateau at T = [T.sub.c], followed by a second increase representative of the crystallization process. Finally, a second plateau is found when crystallinity reaches a maximum value.
Crystallization process and POM analysis of PLLA/TTAD samples showed that the presence of TTAD accelerated the overall PLLA crystallization.
The result of a precipitation experiment is an image that is automatically generated and analyzed to determine the outcome of the crystallization process (Jurisica et al.
The use of other constitutional units that interfere with the crystallization process in the hard segments or improve the compatibility of the hard and soft segments (prevent phase separation) is a further means of creating transparent materials (chemical approach).
They have been able to observe differences in crystal form, distribution, and amount, as well as in the crystallization process itself.
Computer simulation is used to analyze key growth surfaces in the crystallization process. Crystal growth and its disruption by solvent or additive molecules is modeled, providing information that's used to understand the effects of solvents or morphology-controlling additives.
The first derivative is a picture of the actual solidification, and the area it contains is the energy being released by the crystallization process. The second derivitive is used to pick out and magnify certain points on the overall curve that mark the beginning or end of a cooling phase.
The isothermal crystallization process of SCF/PP was simulated using the combined model and the pixel coloring method proposed by Ruan et al.
Cold crystallization process makes the form of crystal nucleus become easier, and the more crystal nucleus is, the more crystal of PLLA is, resulting in the increasing of melting enthalpy.
Genevac's eXalt non-destructive evaporation--technology, developed with partners in the field 1111 4'killi0446'." dbe evaporated all at the same slow rate--and under the same conditions--giving the user control of pharmaceutical small molecule crystallization, enables a range of solvents and multiple actives to of the crystallization process. This is achieved using a special holder for vials that allows a selection of baffles to be placed on top of the vial to slow the evaporation rate of the volatile solvents.
