Country Basket

An unmanaged portfolio that tracks the stock markets for a particular country. For example, a country basket may contain all stocks traded on every major stock market in Italy. The company managing the country basket issues shares in this portfolio; these shares may be traded as if they were stocks. Most country baskets are traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
