company imagecommonly held beliefs and impressions about a firm as a supplier of products, an employer and member of the community. Companies seek to promote positive public perceptions of themselves as progressive and enlightened organizations, caring for their employees and the environment and looking after the interests of consumers, because of the beneficial impact of good image upon, for example, company recruitment and sales.
