Russian Trading System (RTS)

An electronic system in Russia, like the Nasdaq system on which the majority of Russian equities trading is conducted.

RTS

An electronic stock market in Russia. It was established in 1995 and was modeled on NASDAQ. Its securities experienced an extraordinary amount of growth in the early 2000s. See also: RTS Index.
