Business Reply Envelope

In marketing, a preaddressed envelope included in a piece of mail allowing the receiver to reply to the sender without charge. This is used for mail sent to a large number of people and/or organizations. For example, an envelope may be sent along with a letter promoting a political candidate, and it may allow the receiver to submit a contribution without a stamp. A mailer pays the U.S. Postal Service a flat, annual fee to be able to use business reply envelopes.
