Buffer

In computer science, a temporary storage for data before it can be processed. For example, a word processor may put data in a buffer before sending it to a printer, because a computer operates faster than a printer.

TX working solutions for voltammetric inquiries were prepared by direct dilution of the stock solution with 1 M acetate buffer solution at pH 5.5 containing a constant amount of methanol (20% V/V).
The achieved mixture was diluted using a pH 3.5 buffer solution. The absorbance of the obtained solution was measured at 485 nm.
2 shows the cyclic voltammograms for 20 [micro]mol [L.sup.-1] AML and 50 [micro]mol [L.sup.-1] ATOR in BR buffer solution (pH 4.0) on the anodically pretreated BDD electrode at the scan rate of 40 mV s-1.
The thermal stabilities of trypsin in its free and immobilized states were evaluated by measuring the residual activity at 60[degrees] C in BAEE buffer solution (pH 8, 20 mmol/L, N[H.sub.4]HC[O.sub.3]).
The biodegradation of polymeric material Sh-AA-MBA was carried out by following protocol: The polymeric material was immersed in phosphate buffer solution of pH 7.4 along with enzyme lipase (1 mg [mL.sup.-1]).
The operation of the pH-EGFET sensor is very similar to that of a conventional MOSFET, except that an additional sensing structure is immersed in the buffer solution. The relation between the pH value and drain-source current (JDS) can be obtained by the basic MOSFET expression [26], where the threshold voltage of pH-EGFET sensor depends on the pH value.
After BSA adsorption measurements, the fibre was transferred to a pure buffer solution. No recovery of the initial Fres was observed, indicating that the BSA adsorption process was irreversible.
Lightnin also offers an expanded line of SR Sanitary Right Angle Drive mixers featuring an array of mixing solutions for applications in the pharmaceutical, biological, cosmetic and food processing industries, using tank sizes between 100-30,000 liters for media suspension, storage, buffer solutions and fermentation.
Easy to set up and maintain, the instrument's on-board microprocessor automates temperature compensation, buffer recognition and calibration against standard buffer solutions. Buffered at the touch of a button, buffer data is stored in memory, even after switch-off.
Tsang and his coworkers exposed three commonly used methacrylate polymers to buffer solutions both with and without cholesterol esterase for periods of 2 to 8 days.
