Brunei Dollar

The currency of Brunei. In Malay, the dollar is called the Brunei ringgit. Established in 1967, it is pegged to the Singaporean dollar at a 1:1 ratio. This means that the Brunei dollar effectively floats, but is monitored against an undisclosed currency basket maintained by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
