Broker Call Loan

A loan that must be paid on demand. Broker call loans are often used to fund margin accounts; the interest rate on such a loan is calculated with reference to the broker call, which is published in the Investor's Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal each day. Broker call loans require securities as collateral.
