Better Business Bureau

An organization that promotes an environment in which buyers and sellers can trust each other. It encourages ethical business practices, provides information on fraudulent schemes against both businesses and their customers, and offers arbitration services in the event of disputes. It was established in 1912 and consists of local chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
