Bank Trust Custodial Account
An individual retirement account from which contributions are placed either into an interest-bearing account at a bank or a brokerage account directed by the IRA holder. A bank trust custodial account gives the holder a great deal of flexibility as to how his/her retirement money is invested. This type of account was created in 1974.
