Award Letter

The total reduction of a student's out-of-pocket expenses for attending a post-secondary educational institution for an academic year. The award letter outlines all grants, scholarships, work-study programs and some loans offered to the student. The award letter may determine whether or not the student can afford the institution. It is also called an award package.
