Assigned Mailing Date

Assigned Mailing Date

The date on which the user of a mailing list is permitted to send direct mail to all persons thereon. The owner of the mailing list uses the assigned mailing date to regulate how often persons on the same list receive direct mail. The person or group who owns a list determines the assigned mailing date, though it is often not enforced.
