Admiralty Liability(redirected from Admiralty Liabilities)
The amount for which one is liable in certain events that occur on the high seas. For example, if a ship sinks, the ship's owner (under certain circumstances) may have to make restitution for the goods lost up to the total value of the ship. Admiralty liability varies according to circumstance and the specific event. See also: Jones Act.
