The two-character ISO 3166 country code for MACEDONIA, THE FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF.

MK

1. ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. This is the code used in international transactions to and from Macedonian bank accounts.

2. ISO 3166-2 geocode for Macedonia. This is used as an international standard for shipping to Macedonia. Each Macedonian municipality has its own numeric code with the prefix "MK." For example, the code for the Municipality of Berovo is ISO 3166-2:MK-03.
