Bar

In technical analysis, a graphic indicating a security's open, high, low, and close prices over a given time period. This time period may be as long as a year or more or as short as a minute, and many technical analysts use bars on a daily basis. Bars are an important part of analyzing price trends and market movements. Bars are the equivalent of candlesticks on candlestick charts.

To discriminate the ADRB2 Gly16Arg and Glu27Gln, ADRB3 Trp64Arg as well as ADRA2A G1780A alleles, TaqMan[R] Pre-Designed SNP Genotyping Assays were used (assay IDs: C_2084764_20, C_2084765_20, C_2215549_20 and C_996424_20, respectively), including appropriate primers and fluorescently labelled (FAM and VIC) MGB[TM] probes to detect the alleles.

The ADRB2 genomic DNA and amino acid sequences of various species (horse, human, chimpanzee, mouse, rat, cow, pig, chicken, dog, and cat) were retrieved from the Ensemble database (http://www.ensembl.org/) and aligned with BioEdit software using the ClustalW method.

In an earlier study, the researchers identified other common genetic variants associated with lung cancer risk in NNK disposition pathways, such as CYP2A13, the most active P450 for the phase metabolic activation of NNK and the receptor (ADRB2) in its non-genotoxic pathway.

The gene expression of four adrenoceptors, alpha 1(ADRA1A), alpha 2 (ADRA2A), beta 1 (ADRB1), and beta 2 (ADRB2), as well as of three muscarinic receptors, M2 (CHRM2), M3 (CHRM3), and M4 (CHRM4), was detected with high expression of beta 2 (ADRB2) and M3 (CHRM3) (Figure 3).
