Student
A person working toward an educational qualification, especially but not necessarily a degree. For example, one may be studying for a bachelor's degree in engineering or a professional certification as an electrician. Students often finance their studies with loans and grants. These loans may be treated favorably for tax purposes.

We left Firstborn in his student house doing studenty things because he's of the 'no churches, no museums' persuasion.
Ethnic prints, drain-pipe jeans, T-shirts with slogans which made them more like statements than garments - all typical studenty kind of stuff.
