Quota Sample
In focus groups, the predetermination to include only a certain number of persons from stated demographic groups. The quota sample system allows focus groups to be representative while keeping them manageable. For example, a quota sample may limit itself to three persons under 25, three between 25 and 50, and three over 50.

A total sample of 900 respondents were questioned online, with quota samples of 150 respondents based in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and 150 from Belgium and The Netherlands combined.
YouGov interviewed a representative quota sample of more than 1,300 employees in the UK & Ireland.
Lastly, it draws comparisons between the bias adjustment model of the quota sample design and the net birth/death model of the probability sample design.
