CREST CREST is CrestCo's real-time settlement system for UK and Irish shares and other corporate securities. CrestCo has provided settlement systems for government bonds and money market instruments in the UK since 1990. CREST The central securities depository for many British and Irish securities. In particular, it is used to settle gilts in the United Kingdom. Using CREST carries tax advantages for U.K. investors.
