The real estate agent who obtained a listing agreement for his or her broker.Technically, only the qualifying broker, managing broker, or similar statutorily designated person for a real estate company, may enter into listing agreements. The broker will then split any commission with the listor in an agreed-upon amount ranging from 25 percent to as much as 100 percent.
