KYD

ISO 4217 code for the Cayman Islands dollar. First introduced in 1972, replacing the Jamaican dollar, it has been pegged to the United States dollar since 1974. As of 2009, the peg was US$1.20 per C$1, making the Cayman Islands dollar one of the highest valued currencies in the world.
