Fifth letter of a Nasdaq stock symbol specifying the issue is the voting stock of the company.
j
Used in the dividend column of stock transaction tables to indicate that the listed dividend was paid earlier in the year but that the latest board meeting voted an omitted or a deferred dividend or decided to take no action on the dividend: ChockFull j.
J
A symbol appearing next to a stock listed on NASDAQ indicating that the stock is a voting share. All NASDAQ listings use a four letter abbreviation; if a ?J? follows the abbreviation, this indicates that the security being traded is voting stock.
