Initially only wealthy elite played bingo, after which bingo made its mark in Germany amongst children, who played Bingo for educational purposes. Founded in 1851 by Paul Julius Reuter, it was initially concerned with commercial news but began to serve a growing newspaper clientele after the London Morning Advertiser subscribed in 1858. It's a move that initially will create 250 jobs here and 1,500 nationally. |
