A document transferring ownership of personal property to another.There are no particular requirements,so long as someone can identify the parties involved and the thing being sold.It is not necessary to spell out the amount paid,but it is usually a good idea to include it.

Example: “John Jones sells to Lydia Lang, for $200, one 10x15 foot hard plastic portable shed located at 135 Elm Street, Pleasant, New York.”
