Dollar Price

    0.01 sec.
dollar price
The price of a bond quoted as a dollar percentage of par value rather than yield. For example, a bond selling at par would be quoted at 100.

Dollar Price
The price of a bond, expressed as a percentage of the face value. For example, if a bond has a face value of $1,000 (which most bonds do) and it is trading at $990, one quotes the price as 99% in dollar terms. The dollar price is one of two ways bonds are quoted on different exchanges. The other way is a percentage of the bond's yield.
