Comp
Informal for comparison or comparison ticket; statements two brokers give to each other to confirm the details about a trade of a security to which they agreed. Details include the price and size of the transaction. The comps the brokers give one another must agree before the trade can be settled. See also: Don't Know.

The weird thing is, the guy that threw the drink had gotten his tickets free -- he was comped somehow -- and he got ejected from the venue.
The only whales he's interested in saving are the kind that get comped 1,500-square-foot jacuzzi suites in Vegas.
Pretty much anybody can get comped for the buffet at the MGM Grand if they're playing for a while and they have a players card.
