Cash-on-Cash Return A rate of return often used in real-estate transactions. The calculation determines the cash income on the cash invested: ![]() Notes: For example when you purchase a rental property, you might put down only 10% for a cash down payment. An assisted living facility at stabilized occupancy should be able to deliver annual cash-on-cash returns in the 13 to 17 percent range. By eliminating certain activities and consolidating others into existing facilities, this action is expected to generate positive cash-on-cash returns by contributing annual pre-tax cash savings in excess of $4 million against an incremental pre-tax cash cost of approximately $6 million. |
