LANCASTER -- Lancaster is creating a new program to have every apartment and rental home in the city inspected on a regular basis for health and building code violations. Currently we are in the midst of several negotiations with the city council on a myriad of issues, ranging from developing a cost effective building code to keeping pets out of non-pet buildings.
