As Is Describing the sale of an asset in which the seller gives no guarantee on the quality of the asset and makes no repairs that may be necessary. An "as is" sale transfers all risk to the buyer. This may result in a lower price. Even so, it is often advantageous to the buyer only if he/she intended to make repairs or renovations anyway.
