architectural drawings

Project drawings provided by the architect, typically showing the floor plan;elevations (views of the various sides of the structure);finish schedules;and details of moldings, cabinetry, doors, and other such matters necessary for the builder to order the proper materials for construction. It typically does not include engineering drawings for heating and air conditioning, electrical, audiovisual, telecommunications, security, waste management or plumbing systems, or landscaping plans and topographical details. All such plans, obtained from other professionals, are typically combined with the architectural drawings into a set of working drawings.
