Congestion

A situation where a demand for a security exceeds supply or vice versa. In both cases, a large change in price is likely because investors will have a difficult time entering or leaving a position at its current price. Congestion can lead to a security trading either below its support level (if supply exceeds demand) or above its resistance level (if demand exceeds supply).

The Active Congestion Management feature dynamically monitors end-to-end Layer 4 traffic flows to detect congestion across a large fabric and automatically redirects traffic onto less congested paths, while maintaining in-order packet delivery.
This award is especially important since our Active Congestion Management technology is being acknowledged by highly knowledgeable members of the HPC community.
Rich features and functionality improvements include advanced bridging and multiprotocol routing, active congestion control, quality of service (QoS) assurances for real-time traffic, and fault tolerance.
Woven Systems Active Congestion Management technology solves this problem for multi-stage, multi-path 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) fabrics by detecting congestion through one-way latency and jitter measurements, and dynamically re-routing traffic around congestion so as to fully utilize all of the capacity of the fabric.
