profit after tax

the NET PROFIT attributable to SHAREHOLDERS of a company after all costs and taxes have been deducted. This is the amount left to be paid out as DIVIDENDS to shareholders as a return on their investment or to be ploughed back into the business as undistributed profits to add to the company's RESERVES.
