Lariviere may see ingratitude in those who would
look a gift horse in the mouth, but both he and Knight should understand that it's natural for people to want to be sure the UO is really getting a horse and not, say, a pregnant cat.
While it might seem foolish to
look a gift horse in the mouth, we've had quite enough of this particular gift horse and his profligate party, who in 13 years have failed to seriously lift our employment rate, and now insult us by finding millions of pounds to tell us to be nicer to one another.
This is plainly a cynical piece of electioneering but don't
look a gift horse in the mouth, even if it is our money that has paid for the gift.
THE saying, "To never
look a gift horse in the mouth", is not always the soundest advice to follow.
