1. ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code for the Republic of India. This is the code used in international transactions to and from Indian bank accounts.

2. ISO 3166-2 geocode for India. This is used as an international standard for shipping to India. All states and Union territories have their own codes with the prefix "IN." For example, the code for the State of West Bengal ISO 3166-2:IN-WB.
