For your information (FYI)

A prefix to a security price indicating that the quote is for information purposes only, and not an offer to trade.

FYI

A quote for the price of a security in which the price is subject to change. Market makers occasionally make FYI quotes for valuation purposes only. It may also refer to a quote that is not an offer, but simply supplied for informational purposes.

Of or relating to a market maker's quotation for trading purposes when the price is not firm. For example, a market maker might supply an FYI quote for valuation purposes. Also called for valuation only, throwaway.
