K.: Physics of carrier-transport mechanisms and ultra-small scale phenomena for theoretical modeling of nanometer MOS transistors from
diffusive to ballistic regimes of operation.
(a) Absolute recovery (induced
diffusive flux rates); (b) relative recovery of peptides (% of standard solution concentration), measured at different perfusate flow rates (1 - 10 [micro]L [min.sup.-1]), from a solution containing 10 peptides and N[H.sub.4.sup.+] (10 [micro]mol [L.sup.-1] of each compound); and (c) the effect of molecular weight on the relative recovery of the same peptides and of N[H.sub.4.sup.+] (10 [micro]mol[L.sup.-1]) at a constant perfusate flow rate of 1 and of 5 [micro]L [min.sup.-1].
By adding convective fluxes and
diffusive fluxes into one part
The permanent verification of the sampling rate, based on weight losses of permeation tubes, is an independent way of checking the overall performance of
diffusive sampling systems.
Interpretation of DGT-induced fluxes indicates the degree of depletion of the solution metal concentration in the vicinity of the DGT probe (as determined by the thickness of the
diffusive layer), the kinetics of desorption of metals, and the extent of the pool(s) of labile metal species in the particulate phase [24, 25].
It appears that by applying a more appropriate sample preparation water stable isotope data consistent with
diffusive exchange may be obtained from advective displacement.
In particular, the application of this problem can be found in: building design and heat transfer, magmas and in other fluids of Geophysical and Geophysics, astrophysics, oceanography, lava flows may be responsible for enhancing the rise of volcanic plumes into the Earths stratosphere, convective phenomena in both multicoinponent fluids and crystallizing fluid systems, and salt finger and
diffusive interfaces.
The greenhouse had 50m of length, 7m of width, 4m of height (north-south direction), divided in two environments: Environment I (EI)--covered with low-density polyethylene film (solar radiation (SR) transmissivity: 80%) associated with thermoreflective screen (SR transmissivity: 57-60%), installed internally at the ceiling height; Environment II (EII)--covered with a
diffusive plastic film (SR transmissivity: 60%).
The end surfaces dried because of capillary and
diffusive moisture losses through the exposed end.
